Freedom died a little bit today

A famous line used by drill instructors goes as follows…

Give your souls to Jesus, because your ass belongs to me! While this makes for good TV drama, sadly it can now be declared by our government with its takeover of healthcare. Putting aside the theft of labor, additional socialism and rape of our liberties, we have now had all of our freedom taken from us. This government takeover of healthcare can now be used to justify any control they wish on our lives. Under the guise of “cost” the mommy state near do wells, the people for a perfect world have all of the ammunition they need to dictate every facet of our lives and our freedom to us. Yes, the drill instructors will have to be careful with what they do, because your ass now belongs to the State

For those who doubt me, and claim that I am going off the deep end, I ask you to explain the following to me. In California we have mandatory helmet laws based on the “cost” of health care to treat those who have accidents without them. We have mandatory Seatbelt laws, imposed on us in order to protect us in case of an accident, and they justify it for our own good, and to offset the cost of care. Grown adults cannot smoke in a bar or restaurant even if the owner consents, because of the terrible threat of second hand smoke and the health care costs associated with it. Cigarette companies are forced to pay huge legal cases and are not only stopped from advertising a legal product, but they are forced to pay into a fund, for the government to advertise against their product.

But Mark, those are dangerous! …really are the food companies that are forced to subject them selves to additional regulation because some unelected whores decided their product has too much sugar, or too much fat content, and are making our children fat. This is regulated due to the “cost” of obesity, and the care that goes with it…

What is next?
There is not part of your life that will not be able to be controlled with government run healthcare.

No more McDonalds….. it is bad for you, and will raise medical costs
No more Lung transplants for you if you have ever smoked….
A new freeway speed limit of 55 MPH? Safety…healthcare costs…
Federally mandated exercise plans….
Limits on children? Why not? Lets cut back on Maternity cost, and children’s healthcare costs!
You owe back taxes? Sorry no healthcare for you!
Doctors office visits, asking if you own a gun? It will now be their job, to cut back on health costs…..
And So on and So on…..
You will be hard pressed to find an aspect of life that cannot fall under the government control, if you consider healthcare cost as a reasonable qualifier….

Freedom in America Died a little bit more today.... 218 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives have now turned their backs on the oath they took to uphold the Constitution and used it for toilet paper, all the while buying the support of fools and lemmings with their own money
